Project Management Institute Pearl City Chapter (PMIPCC) is the organization representing the region of Telugu states namely Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for spreading awareness about project management. Chapter was registered in 2001 and has a total membership of around 1,100 active members and much higher number of credential holders. It is run by a board comprising of professionals from various domains and industries.

The chapter has made significant contribution in the region by evangelizing the project management profession through seminars, workshops, conferences and network meetings For spreading the PM understanding and to facilitate networking among the member community, they conduct various programs and events and the PM conference is one among them.

Pearl City Chapter was the recipient of “2005 Community Advancement through Project Management” award in the Component category. PMIPCC also hosts the Gyan Lahari Conference Series which began in the year 2010 with the then Hon’ble President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam inaugurating and delivering the keynote address at the Conference.

PMIPCC has recently hosted the National Conference in Sept, 2014 which was attended by more than 1000 professionals. The last annual conference from this chapter called Gyan Lahari (Knowledge Waves) attracted over 300 project management professionals. The theme of the conference was “Defining Next Generation Project Management”
