Matt Tomlinson is a product management leader at Indeed.com where he focuses on helping connect millions of people with employment.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Tomlinson’s journey started in his parents’ garage where, at the age of 16, he formed his first startup to connect small businesses to the internet. Now, a few decades – and several more startups – later, he is an accomplished program manager, product manager, researcher, writer and speaker in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
His distinguished endeavors have been recognized by many organizations. These include the prestigious Booz Allen Hamilton “Values in Practice” award recognizing his program management for the Department of Defense directly supporting multiple Secretaries of Defense, the Stevie Award for customer service and the SQM Customer Experience Award for Innovation for his work directing the global innovation lab at Electronic Arts.
As a speaker, Mr. Tomlinson has shared his insights into artificial intelligence at the Gartner Symposium and has been a recurring speaker for the IPsoft Digital Workforce Summit. Most recently, he presented at the Corinium Summit for C-suite executives.
Mr. Tomlinson has been an active volunteer at PMI for over 10 years working on exam development, program management role-delineation studies, The Standard for Program Management – Third Edition, the Certification Governance Council, and the most recent global practice analysis of how professionals across a diverse spectrum of occupations view their work in transforming ideas into reality. His efforts have contributed to what PMI is today and helped define what PMI can be going forward.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Texas Christian University and served five years in the U.S. Air Force. He is the father of three girls and spends his time trying to teach them to make the world a better place.
Tom Wujec is a technology pioneer, speaker, writer, and design thinker who helps organizations solve complex problems and generate massive positive impact.
Tom Wujec is the creator of Wicked Problem Solving®, a systems-based framework that guides people to create breakthroughs, align teams, defeat inertia, and cultivate nimble leadership. WPS is used by a vast range of organizations, including Microsoft, the Mayo Clinic, CITI, the California State Government, and is delivered as an an accredited program by PMI, the Project Management Institute.
As a former Autodesk Fellow and founding Singularity University Professor, Tom has worked at the intersection of emerging technologies, business transformation and creative collaboration. He has developed a wide range of digital tools to design and engineer better cars, stronger buildings, more beautiful and sustainable consumer products, and more engaging movies and games. Maya, a visual effects application, won an Academy Award for its contribution to the film industry and SketchBook Pro is used by 40 million designers and artists is one of the earliest applications developed using agile methods.
Tom is also the author of eight books which have been translated into 16 languages. He has spoken at TED six times and delivered over 400 keynoters and workshops globally to Fortune 500 organizations.
Ricardo specialized in implementing global initiatives, capital projects and product development, managing more than $20 billion in international projects in the past 25 years. He wrote 15 books in the field. Ricardo also created and led the Brightline Initiative from 2016 to 2020 and was the director of project management and infrastructure at the United Nations, leading more than 1,000 projects in humanitarian and development projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, a master's in Industrial Engineering, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineer.
Kalpana Ramesh, fondly called as ‘Water Warrior’ is an environmentalist advocating water conservation and restoration. An interior designer by profession, she was vexed with the cities’ dependency on water tankers and cans and thus started working towards eliminating water woes by implementing rainwater harvesting at her residence and later transforming into block by block for the city. Her commitment to exemplary practice is demonstrated by her unique ability of connecting her profession and passion for water and environmental conservation. Kalpana is also a core member of SAHE (Society for Advancement of Human Endeavours). Her efforts in the field of water awareness have garnered her various prestigious awards. She believes in working on a three part plan which includes communities ,corporates and the government for a sustainable water future.
Her current social start-up, “The Rainwater Project”, provides sustainable integrated water management solutions in public and private sectors, along with lake & well restoration and conservation.
She is part of the Hyderabad design forum (HDF)'s Stepwell documentation initiative. As a lead of ‘Blue Hyderabad initiative’, in collaboration with various organizations, she worked on restoring the ‘dead’ KudiKunta lake. The quality of water, the environment of the lake vicinity have improved significantly, over three years.
In collaboration with the government, she worked on restoring collapsed drain networks around the lake, regaining possible catchments, and improving biodiversity. Besides working with researchers on Lake revival, she has also conducted various water - awareness workshops for students and corporate, reaching out to 6 million people.
Under Blue Hyderabad campaigns she identified significant traditional and irrigation wells that lost their context due to rapid urbanization.Restoring such traditional wells helps in connecting communities and spaces by reviving traditional water harvesting structures.She has successfully revived 5 significant stepwells.
She is one of the seven women honored on women’s day to take over the Prime Minister’s social media handle for a cause. She received many recognitions with many prestigious awards like Water Heroes by Jal Ministry,SCSC awards,HMA Women entrepreneur of the year 2021 and Hysea award.Recently she has been awarded for her commitment of conserving water by the IIID Regional (Hyderabad) Chapter
Spencer is the President of Altium Leadership. He has previously been the CEO of a leadership development company and Vice President of a NASDAQ company, which developed IMAX theaters in tourist destinations. There he worked with major organizations such as IMAX Corp., National Geographic Television, Radio City Productions, Disney Films and more. He has been speaking professionally since 2009. He has been speaking and presenting at PMI chapter development conferences since 2010 and has been a regular speaker at the PMI Leadership Institute Meeting (LIM) North America Conference, since 2014. He is consistently one of the highest rated speakers for the yearlong, PMI Leadership Institute Master Class (LIMC) since 2015.
He is a co-author of the "Speakers on Life" anthology "The Power of the Platform" along with Jack Canfield, Les Brown, Brian Tracy and more.
He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in economics from the University of Utah. He is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) with the National Speakers Association, a designation which less than 17% of speakers worldwide achieve. He is a Certified Team Performance Coach (CTPC) and facilitator through Team Coaching International and a certified Professional Dynametric Programs trainer and administrator through PDP Global. Spencer has been married to his amazing wife, Jana, for more than 35 years. She is his partner and COO of Altium Leadership. Together they have five beautiful children and five grandchildren.
Sree is the Global Talent Leader at EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) since March 2019. Additionally, he has taken over the role of GDS Enablement Services (ES) Leader from 1 July 2020.
At EY, the focus is to develop leaders who build a better working world. In his role as Global Talent Leader, Sree is leading and driving the complete re-imagination of Talent initiatives, enabling improved partnership with the business. He is also working towards an ambitious three-year vision for ES, of building a distinctive, world class global delivery enablement services organization with exceptional people to enable EY to win in the market.
Sree is also part of the EY Global Diversity and Inclusiveness Steering Committee, the Global Talent Leadership at EY and the GDS Executive Committee.
He has over 25 years of experience in both Human Resources and broader business transformation, extending from human resources management, people supply chain management and organizational development, to technology leadership and quality management.
He is well versed in mergers and acquisitions, talent integration, leadership development, HR shared services, HR analytics and change management.
Sree is qualified in TQM, TPS, PCMM and Agile Methodology & Change Management (Change Acceleration Process). He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt and Agile Coach.
Sri Neerabh Kumar Prasad, belongs to 1987 Batch of IAS. He is an alumni of IIT, Delhi, IIM, Bangalore and Princeton University, New Jersey, USA. He has varied experience in various Departments of Government of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India and is presently working as Special Chief Secretary to Government & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Janani Raju is a Technical Manager, Responsible for Execution & Delivery of Vision AI Topics at Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions and an PMI Future 50 honoree of 2021.
With an overall Industry experience of 11 years, She is an active AI Practitioner and Thought Leader, an Agile Practitioner at heart. She has been part of R&D topics for Autonomous driving, Surveillance Analytics etc., She manages an 18-person team responsible for the delivery of computer vision technology projects for internal clients, as well as for an array of Global customers in the domains of Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Robotics and Surveillance. She has filed for 9 patents to her name—so far. She is also part of the Digital Transformation Journey of the organization's FitForFuture Initiative.
Manju Latha Kalanidhi, a Hyderabad-based journalist, hit instant fame thanks to her social initiative Rice Bucket Challenge, a desi spin on the Ice Bucket Challenge in August 2014. The campaign went viral three days after she started it in Hyderabad, trending 10,000 times on Twitter alone. From The Huffington Post to The Independent to NPR, BBC, CNN and Oprah magazine and closer home, national media covered it. In less than a week, her Facebook profile and the Rice Bucket Challenge page has 60,000 followers (without promotions or advertisements). Her campaign was also named among the top five social media campaigns in 2014 December. The initiative is alive and kicking even today, thus proving it is sustainable. A recipient of JFW Women Achiever Award 2014, Loreal Social Influencer 2015, Karamveer Chakra Gold Award, APJ Abdul Kalam Award, she is a social influencer with over 1 lakh followers across social media.
During the Covid-19 lockdown alone, her initiative managed to garner over 27,100 kg worth Rs 18 lakh of essential supplies and donate it to over 78 distribution points including community kitchens which were serving the needy. From weavers to cab drivers to sanitary workers to the transgender community, the Rice Bucket Challenge is also listed in the state hunger helpline. She currently has over 1 lakh followers across social media including her page on Rice Bucket Challenge. Her initiative is also being featured as a case study in National Geographic Learning Center.
John Robert is a published author and vice president of a pharma company. A project leadership enthusiast with two decades of experience in projects and operations. He has significant exposure in large-scale infrastructure projects and complex research program management. John is an engineer and MBA by education. He has 360degree exposure as a consultant, project manager, leader, and contractor, from a simple brick and mortar projects to ERP implementation to complex research and development programs.
While many of the projects he executed, or lead were successful; he also had his share of failures.
He considers his experience of challenging projects are more valuable, the projects that have not met the time, cost, and scope targets. Many of them failed in spite of adopting the best practices of project management. His quest is in search of a solution to this; you will find this reflected in his writings.
